They say it takes a village to raise a child and there are plenty of opportunities for parents and carers to be involved in our school.
It could be through School Council, joining a subcommittee, helping the kids with cooking in the kitchen, and/or in the garden, joining in our quarterly working bees, or simply by spending some time helping in your child’s classroom.
Have you thought about being a supporter of reading? The one to one experience of reading with an adult is incredibly valuable for children and all of our classrooms would welcome your assistance.
You can also get involved in activities held by the school, from sports carnivals and excursions, to our numerous fundraising activities.
All volunteers must have a Working with Children Check which can be obtained at no cost. You can apply online here.
Talk to your child’s teacher(s), or contact the office and find out how you can become part of our village.
